Health
Vast improvements over the last half century have helped make Americans healthier. Living standards are better in general, and Americans have the advantage of a more-extensive and far-reaching health care system than ever before. But these improvements, though true on average, do not reflect the inequalities that plague the U.S. health care system. While Americans, on average, are healthier and living longer, too many are left without adequate insurance coverage or access to the great advances of our health care system.
